To provide fans with top class entertainment,
the annual BTCC meeting doesn’t
use Silverstone’s full Grand Prix
track. Instead the touring cars do battle
on the shorter International circuit.
The layout is every bit as challenging
with high-speeds blasts through corners
such as Copse and Bridge plus a tight,
technical hairpin at Abbey where most
of the overtaking takes place. The BTCC
returns to Silverstone in July for a
non-championship race on the British
GP bill.
