NEW PLANS FOR SEAT IN 2009
Following six successful years in British motorsport, SEAT UK has decided that it will not participate in the BTCC in 2009, while 2008 will also be final year of the SEAT Cupra Championship. Having won the BTCC Manufacturers’ Trophy in 2006, the Teams’ Trophy in 2007 and nurtured talented drivers in the SEAT Cupra series and onto either the BTCC or WTCC, SEAT Sport UK plans to celebrate its outstanding achievements at its final race at Brands Hatch on September 20/21.

Win Jason Plato's 2008 SEAT Sport UK BTCC team shirt

Congratulations to Mark Phelps from Blisworth in Northamptonshire on winning September's on-line competition. His reward is 80,000 Priority Club Reward points, equivalent to two night's accommodation at any Holiday Inn hotel anywhere in the world, including breakfast.

October's top prize is an item of BTCC memorabilia that will evoke happy memories in years to come - the team shirt that Jason Plato wore during the 2008 BTCC. These shirts have never been available to buy and are SEAT Sport UK team only shirts, identified with sponsor names on the sleeves. And Jason will authentic it with his signature.
