With its challenging cocktail of fast
straights and slow corners, Croft always
serves up top class entertainment for
those in the North East. Highlights
include the superfast chicane leading
onto the back straight – anyone
putting a wheel wrong here will be overtaken
on the approach to the following Tower
corner. Sparks also fly at the end of
a lap as the panel bashing cars jostle
for position through the final three
bends. As a Yorkshireman, James Thompson
is the local favourite.
