Eurosport will continue to broadcast rounds of the FIA World Touring Car Championship live in 2006.

Eurosport began broadcasting in 1989 and today reaches 98 million households in 54 countries across Europe . It also broadcasts in 19 languages and has a daily audience of 21 million viewers.

These statistics haven’t gone unnoticed by the promoters of the WTCC, KSO (Kigema Sport Organisation), who have established close links with Eurosport and together have created a brilliant TV package for tin-top race fans. For those with a posh telly, you can even watch the races in High Definition.

Qualifying on Saturdays is normally pre-recorded and shown later that same day, while many of Sunday’s first races and all second races are broadcast live – even those in far-flung places like Mexico and Macau . Expert commentary from Martin Haven and David Leslie adds to the excitement.
